A Valor Mission House is a shared residence for individuals in recovery from substance addiction can live together and support one another in a drug and alcohol-free environment
A Valor House member can stay for as long as they need, provided they remain substance free, maintain a safe and non-disruptive environment, and pay their share of housing expenses.

Self-Supporting
Each member pays an Expense Share, which includes the total amount due for rent, utilities, and basic needs for the house.
100% Drug and Alcohol Free
Each house member adheres to a strict requirement that any member who partakes in substance use must be expelled from the house.
Long-term living opportunity
There is no limit on how long a member can live in a Valor Mission House. Most members plan to stay about a year, but the opportunity for longer stay is available. There is no requirement to leave for a member who is in good standing.
Democratically Run
House members have an equal vote regardless of length of stay or how long they have been in the house. Each house has a House Manager to oversee the space and provide support for members.

Valor Houses are democratically run by the residents. Each member has an equal vote, regardless of length of stay or how long they’ve been in the house. Each house has a House Manager who serves an an in-house support system.

There is no exact sobriety time needed. Generally, an individual comes into a Valor House following a 30-day rehabilitation program or atleast a week detoxification program.

Each member pays a expense share, which includes the total rent as well as cost of the utilities, telephone, cable, internet, and any other expense that the house includes in its common expenditures. Valor Houses collect a monthly amount and can range anywhere from $700 to $1050 per month depending on service tier.
